Porridge Power

Oats have super powers! This great breakfast food is delicious, will give you loads of energy and keep your body healthy. Try making this recipe at home and get creative with your own recipe name. Ingredients and favourite toppings. 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 cups light blue milk
CAPTAIN CARROT:
  • 1/2 grated carrot
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
THE MIGHTY APPLE:
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple, cut into matchsticks
GO NUTTY BANANAS:
  • 1-2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Methods

  1. Place all ingredients in electric pan over a medium heat.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes or until thick and creamy, stirring regularly.
  3. Create your masterpiece.
